Our ER Scare

I had written a blog to post about Kerry going to the ER Friday with chest pains, but it keeps disappearing. So let it just suffice to say that it ended up being Acid Reflux. We were very blessed that it wasn't any more than that! I love Kerry so much, and I can't imagine not having him in my life!

Our Interesting Week

So Tuesday I overheard my co-worker, Debbie, talking to her daughter on the phone. Her daughter's friend had purchased a rescue-dog. Her own dog was not quite digging the new addition to the family, so she wanted to give him away to a good home. He was a mini-Schnauzer, and Kerry had always said that a mini-Schnauzer was the only lap-dog he'd agree to have. I asked questions, and spoke with the friend. Long story short, we now have a new puppy! :) His name is Emmett Jacob Fowers. He's 5 months old, and jet black. Due to being a rescue-dog, he is VERY timid, and hasn't even barked -- not once!!!!!
Emmett is such a sweet puppy... and he's slowly but surely coming around. He has voluntarily left his cage several times tonight to eat... he wasn't doing that two days ago. He also licked Kerry's hand a few times tonight. I just love him!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

I hope you all had a good one! We sure enjoyed time with our family... except the exciting part where my sister had to go to the ER due to her Gallbladder at 1:30 in the morning! That part was bad because I was so worried about her. She is having surgery on New Year's Eve.
The kids were so much fun, and it was great watching their excitement! :)
We were very blessed with the company of our family, and loved our gifts, too.
Next Christmas, we plan on being in Utah. That will be fun!

Happy Anniversary Sweetheart!!

My wonderful, sweet husband and I are celebrating our First Anniversary today! It is such an exciting milestone, and I'm so happy to have reached it! I was blessed with the perfect husband for me... I know Heavenly Father was watching out for us. We went to dinner, and then to see Twilight. (his 2nd time, my 3rd time) Thank you to all of you who believed in us... even though it was one of those "whirlwind" things. I love my new extended family, and I know Kerry feels the same about my side of the family, too. I love you always Honey Fowers...

So I met my Mother- and Father-in-Law for the first time. They are on the way home from Florida Jacksonville Mission. They are so fun, definately my husband's parents! We went to the OKC Bombing Memorial, Lake Hefner, and the OKC Temple. Also had dinner with my family a few times. My Mom did a fab job with supper on Saturday night and Sunday evening. She is so good to us! Made homemade chicken pot pie. She's the best!

I Have the Most Wonderful Husband in the Universe!!

My birthday was Wednesday, Nov. 5th. Kerry said he was still working on my present, so he couldn't give it to me until Thursday. Then he called me at work and asked me to stay an extra hour -- he wasn't finished. I stayed an hour and a half extra, and then came home. I walked in, and WHOA!!!!
My dear, sweet, wonderful, amazing husband had cleaned the entire apartment! De-cluttered, vacuumed, some dusting, the whole enchilada!! The best birthday present ever!!!!! I called several friends and told them.... I just love my amazingly wonderful husband!! :)
